One of the factors that drew me into the field of marketing was competitive research and positioning--the answer to the following: what makes a brand stand out among its competitors?
During my time earning my Marketing Management & Strategy Certificate at the University of Washington, we had the opportunity to develop marketing plans with companies across different services and discuss our strategies with local business owners.
Hailed as the company serving Seattle's Best Pies since 2019, our goal for this project was to take a deep dive into all marketing channels, current branding, research for all local competitors, SWOT analyses, and evaluate content analysis using our marketing research resources.
With the information we gathered, we created a 48-page marketing plan and strategy that was solutions-based to present to our client,
A La Mode Pies.

I was drawn to working with Azzle, an order-ahead application that helps customers connect and order from local food trucks without having to wait in line. Additionally, Azzle was a service for food truck businesses to be discovered.
How it works:
Business owners can purchase their spot based on a monthly subscription and post content for the app and website. Customers can skip the line and order ahead.

I found this project to be a unique opportunity to position a brand that was both B2B and B2C to find the best strategies and solutions. Together, we worked on branding (vision, mission, values statements, and positioning), acquisition strategies, SWOT analyses, and targeting.
